Ready to disassemble for electronics inspections and testing.
Pot tested good, a few ground sleeve hairs clipped, pot cleaned and lubed.  Notice that the factory harness only allows bare minimum wire lengths to pull the pot, jack and pickup from their mounting cavities.
Put to bed at the end of each work period.
The bar pole piece was factory potted into place using a molten plastic filled to overflow, that dried much like bakelite, and has become very brittle over time.
Preparing the top of the pickup for reinforcing with a generous coating of super glue gel.  Notice the double sided dual grit emory board; A very handy detail sanding tool.
Super glue gel coating over the original overfilled bar pole piece potting; Original color was returned with a coat of flat black paint not shown here.
One side of the emory boards is a medium grit while the other side is a medium fine grit; For roughing the top surface of the pickup bobbin for a good grip on the super glue gel.
