The 1998-2003 Danelectro reissues have now become legendary.

It is my honest advice to get a pre-2004 Danelectro while there's still a very few NOS and Mint ones left !

It looks to me like Danelectro's NEW (2009) last 2 model reissues might be a good indication of a return to better times at Danelectro.  CLICK HERE for info and my opinion on Danelectro losing their directions after 2003 (imho); And my best hopes they are now back on track.

A 1960's collaboration between Willie and my Friend since high school, the late and incomparable David Zetner, Willie's Bassman (and Guitarist, Steeler, Drummer and many other instruments), longtime Friend, Musician, recording and media Technician, and Artist extraordinaire;  The song written as David left for the Army during the vietnam war.  With the video recently produced, the ballad is most fitting for our Soldiers today and OUR  RESPONSIBILITIES to them.

David recently departed to the grand Cosmos where his Soul and Being obviously originated and visited often.  He succombed to complications with injuries received in vietnam.

In my 43 years of professional playing, recording and teaching all styles of Music, I have found no better sounding, playing and versitile Guitars ...at any price ...than pre-2004 Danelectros.  Of the many Guitars I have to choose from, nothing comes close to my personal Danos which is just about all I play anymore.                            .......Denny T.
