In early 1965 Buddy met Sharli Archer and her best friend Beth Gardner, and introduced them to the band. They were not only extreme Fans of The Outcasts but were also dedicated experts and shakers for Rock Music, particularly what was the early soup of Psychedelic Music. They wanted to form a Fan Club with more resources than the much younger ladies and sisters Meagan, Feagan and Reagan were able to acquire with their Austin Texas Outcasts Fan Club. The natural solution was to form a National Outcasts Fan Club concurrent with the Outcasts expanding their performances and Fans outside the state of Texas, and ongoing efforts to release a 2nd and rapid sequence of follow-up records. Sharli and Beth became VERY close and beloved friends with the band, and did a marvelous job of attracting "official" Fans and publishing for them more information about The Outcasts than the band could have ever done themselves. Sharli and Beth WERE part of The Outcasts. I will always Love you dearly, Ladies! |

These pictures rode in my wallet during my tour in vietnam ... and been dear since they were taken. I have searched for these wonderful Ladies for many years without success. I am hoping someone viewing this website will know how to contact them some day. |
