Metal surfaces should be cleaned of their corrosion:
   ### - Electronics cover plate.
   ### - Bunker cover plate.
   ### - Coils cover plate.
   ### - Pots casings.
   ### - Tuners.

### - Tuners will be removed and their string shafts, shaft gears and screws disassembled to make thorough clean-up possible and much easier.

### - 1 Knob needs it's shaft socket repaired, or an original replacement found (quite difficult), or a closely matching pair of NOS Dakaware knobs acquired. = Knob repaired.

### - Volume and Tone pots to be sprayed with deoxydizer / cleaner / lubricant and their knobs worked through their full ranges.

### - Search for the Valco that will donate it's magnets for this Steel, and receive the NiBros in place of the donated mags.

### - Refresh the charge of the magnet(s) to get maximum fresh sound from the pickup.

### - Replace the wood slug faux magnet with an original replacement magnet.

### - Clean any dirt, dust, grime from all parts.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS FOUND AND/OR AGREED TO:

### - Disassemble Steel for cleaning, inspection and repair of any signicant items found.

### - 1 lead of 1 of the 2 coils, has a bad connection. = Repaired.

### - Apply a priming and finish coat of clear polyurethane to the fretboard to seal it's checking and secure it's silk original screened application.

### - Reassemble Steel.

### - Solder on femalE jack to output lead.

### - Install recharged magnets.

### - Install strings.

### - Tune and test the Steel by playing for an ample amount of time.

### - Put a note in a small zip loc bag inside the electronics cavity, showing work done and data found that might be material to techs or owner working on this Steel in the future. =  No need now;  All is conventional wiring.
