The pickup's magnets were stacked on top of rare earth magnets and the whole Steel placed on a vibrator plate to do a final recharge of this Steel's magnets.  (Vibration helps the magnets "recharge" / repolarize / realign their molecules).

All finished.  Plays and sounds great. Played it for about half an hour along to Tom Morrel CD's. All ready for your refinishing job. The female jack cord is simply stowed under the strings here for convenience in moving around.
