For you purists;  These tuner buttons have blue and silver "metalflake" suspended in clear plastic.  It's not that difficult for a reasonably talented craftsman to rubber-mold these with epoxy, with the metalflake suspended therein.  And of course even a handyman can install new generic glue-in or melt-in replacement tuners.  Stewart McDonald's website has many downloadable papers on guitar building, maintenance and repair tasks, with allot of great tips in doing so.

Supro Silvertone

PREVIOUS OWNER REPORTS:  Cool old lap steel from Silvertone.  The gold sparkle in the tuning keys has shrunk, and one of the buttons is missing. Otherwise in good conditon, and she sounds great!

DENNY'S NOTE:  Another handsome example of early Supro / Valco Steels.  They really are mighty fine lap Steels.  Check out that early Silvertone art-deco headstock logo plate!

(The case in this picture did-not / does-not belong-to / come-with this Steel.)
