Two tuner ferrules were missing.  I will replace them with ones original to these guitars.
One bent tuner knob shaft will be easily and innocuously bent back into position. 2 screws are non-original and will be replaced with ones original to these guitars.  If you ever have bad G.A.S. or ever intend to work on more than a few guitars, ...then always save any and every old part you encounter;  Never throw an old part away, not even a serviceable screw.  You will be glad when you need and find a small hard to find part in your old parts collection !

The tuner knobs are in good functional condition.  They have some hairline aging cracks common to old tuners.  I will treat those cracks with penetrating & binding solutions of acetone thinned styrene applied with a small artist brush and wiped off of the outside smoothely before the binding solution dries.
Here are all of the removed metal parts sitting in a capillary penetrating oil bath.  NOTICE that the tuners are set so that their plastic knobs will NOT be in nor touch the oil;  Wet oil is not good for tuner knobs (it can creep up the shaft and into the binding joint of the knobs / shafts).  After this oil soaking, the container of parts and oil will be subjected to both ultra-sound and 60 cycle vibrator waves that will take off allot of corrosion;  Then wire brushes and Dremel wire wheels will finish up the corrosion removal jobs.  The parts will then be bathed in Ace Lub-E oil and allowed to dry before wiping them down with clean soft rags, which will leave a thin protective film of oil on the parts to inhibit future corrosion.  A heavier and higher-viscosity film will be left on some parts areas as appropriate, such as on the inside of the vibrato's top plate piece where it will not get on the Player nor creep onto areas it shouldn't be.

The sardine can contains Ace Lub-E that was allowed to sit until it's vehicle evaporated, leaving a heavy viscosity but light oil that can be applied to parts with a Q-tip or artists brush.
