This second basket does not have it's foil label;  I pulled it off to take a look down inside the barrel to make sure there wasn't any surprises in there.

A look around the perimeter of the baskets:

NOTE: The Corrosion Inhibitor I packed into these baskets' air-tight plastic storage bag, molecularly bonds with the surface of ferrous metals and thus prevents any further oxidation, and turns the metals surface oxides into the chocolate brown speckled coloring seen in these close-up images below.  The brown spots are not rust.
Frame Numbers:

NOTE:  DURING JBL'S VINTAGE ERA THEY DID NOT HAVE / USE ANY SPEAKER NUMBERS FOR DATING THEIR SPEAKERS.  I zeroed in on and made these speaker basket numbers available for archives and for any need that might have some research use for them.  I surmise that the numbers are specific part numbers.

A look down the coneless speaker's barrel:
The barrel looks and feels smoothe but not slick.  Were I reconing these baskets I would plan on
the barrels being emoried or honed; Which I will if they're still around at a time when I need them.  Clean as a whistle except for dust.

And
And here is the face of the other speaker's cone.  The orange arc is where the metal dome dust cover was glued to and departed when these speakers were blown by it's Bass Player getting overzealously carried away by the music.
