Both strap buttons were standard plastic buttons and are missing. I have also seen Danelectro's metal strap buttons on the same model Convertible; A matter of either different or superceding parts runs, or periods of not having plastic ones, or Danelectro being known to buy an abundance of certain parts when the price was right, ...metal instead of plastic during some period(s) for instance.
