Scuff prevention masking tape was for initial bridge installation and adjustments. Now removed for finish work.

When the guitar is reassembled, the bridge will be set as low as possible while still being able to thread the dupler strings. Neck angle will be adjusted accordingly. Also figuring into that evaluation is strings clearance over installed pickups, and bridge plate angle for down-pressure on saddles. ~~~ These brass knurl nuts might be changed-out to shorter knurl nuts or to standard nuts if these restrict the resulting deck clearance allowance from being lowered.
